An Erasmus+ project · 2024–2026

Building more equal, diverse and inclusive universities.

Labs4Change brings together four European partners to promote equality, diversity and non-discrimination in higher education — through living labs, participatory audits and an open academy.

Change, made from within

Inequality in universities is layered — gender, origin, class and ability intersect in ways no single fix can solve. Labs4Change works with the people who study and work in higher education to understand those layers and co-create practical, lasting change.

What the project does

01

Open Academy

An interactive online academy and webinar series training staff, students and stakeholders on equality and diversity.

02

Participatory audits

A shared method to assess policies and practices on gender and diversity, and turn the findings into action.

03

Living Labs

Social innovation labs inside universities, where staff and students co-create solutions to the challenges they identify.

04

Toolkit

A methodological and strategic guide to help disseminate the project and implement it across other higher education institutions, organisations and countries.

Across all four, a growing European network of change agents learns from each other and carries the work forward.
